Our Mission Statement
Our Mission Statement
The core mission of the Kesher Project is to revitalize Jewish identity through serving it’s most vibrant community – and the future of Jewish life everywhere, the Youth. We aim to educate and inspire young Jews living in the Diaspora to experience the centrality of Israel to the Jewish people and its role as the Jewish homeland in order to connect all Jewish youth to their heritage.
Our primary mission is to help young Jews to discover themselves, as Jewish people – whether secular, religious, agnostic through questions and exercises that probe into the nature of “identity” on the personal, national and religious levels. Through questions that are meant to spark the imagination of young people, Jewish adolescence explore the role that Judaism plays in their own identities through learning about that of their Jewish “other” across the seas.
Our mission is also to foster leadership capacities and a sense of personal empowerment through personal engagement that makes optimum use of today’s technology.
